Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the respondent no.3, the Officer-in-Charge, Haroa Police Station, P.O. - Haroa, Distrcit - North 24 Parganas has failed to appreciate that the learned Civil Judge in Title Suit No.163 of 1984 has restrained the defendants permanently from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioners' suit property and further prays that the respondent no.3 should ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners and their family members.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that the present case is purely a civil dispute and the police authorities should not interfere with the matter. No one appears for the private respondents.

Heard learned counsels appearing for the parties. The respondent no.3, the Officer-in-Charge, Haroa Police Station, P.O. - Haroa, Distrcit - North 24 Parganas

is directed to keep a sharp vigil at the locale where the petitioners reside and ensure that no harm is done to the petitioners and their family members.

The Writ Petition being WPA 18009 of 2024 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

As the writ petition has been disposed of without calling for affidavits, the allegations made in the same against the respondents shall be deemed to have been denied.
