Heard lawyers for both the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier on merits on a number of occasions and lastly in May, 2024.

The allegations involve murder and, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment. Trial is about to commence. 5.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

CRM (DB) 2227 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.
