Mr. Suman Sengupta Mr. Sanatan Panja ... for the State - Respondent(s) The petitioner has approached this court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as his representation which was submitted before the Officer-incharge of Patrasayer Police Station was not given any effect.

The petitioner is also aggrieved by the fact that the learned Executive Magistrate passed an order which was not adhered to by the concerned police authorities.

Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the State.

I find that the learned Executive

Magistrate passed an order under Section 144 of the Cr.P.C.

Having regard to the limited period for which the orders passed under Section 144 Cr.P.C. have statutory force, this Court is unable to accede to the prayers advanced in the writ petition.

However, if there is breach of any law and order, the police authorities would ensure that the same is not blown out of proportion.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18017 of 2024 is disposed of.
