The petitioner claims to be an unmarried daughter of a deceased primary school teacher. She seeks family pension.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents refers to the instruction forwarded by the District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Paschim Medinipur signed on 22nd July, 2024 mentioning that the petitioner did not submit the requisite documents for processing her claim. The District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Paschim Medinipur is directed to intimate the petitioner the documents that she is required to submit for processing her claim.

Such intimation shall be forwarded to the petitioner within a fortnight from the date of communication of this order.

On submission of documents as sought for, the aforesaid respondent shall process the claim of the petitioner and ensure that the benefit as per her legal entitlement be disbursed in her favour at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of submission of all documents.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
