Mr. Chirak Biswas ...for the Petitioner Mr. Sandipan Banerjee, Mr. Ankit Sureka ...for HMC ADSL1 25-07-2025 AKG Ct. 15 The Howrah Municipal Corporation has issued a demolition order in respect of a G+5 storied building located at 36/21, Hara Chand Mukherjee Lane, under Ward No. 20 of the Howrah Municipal Corporation. The petitioner claims to be an occupant of a flat on the 3rd floor of the said building. The petitioner does not wish to press the prayers originally made in this writ petition. However, he undertakes before this Court to vacate the flat within a period of two (2) months from the date of this order.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the Howrah Municipal Corporation to proceed with the demolition of the subject premises. However, the portion of the premises presently under the occupation of the petitioner shall not be demolished for a period of two

(2) months from the date of this order.

Recording the undertaking of the petitioner, WPA

16954 of 2025 is disposed of.
