It is submitted by the parties that the direction given by this Court in the earlier order has been complied with. A letter dated 8th June, 2022 issued by the learned District Magistrate, South 24-Parganas, to the learned Government Pleader in this context is made over to Court and the same is retained with the records.

Perusing the same, it appears that the documents required to be submitted/filed by the petitioner to receive her pension as the spouse of a deceased freedom fighter is complete. The only part left is disbursement of the pension along with arrears, if any.

The writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to take necessary steps and/or make

arrangement for disbursal of the pension to the petitioner along with arrears, if any, by 18th July, 2022. The parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court, without insisting upon production of the certified copy thereof.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
