Affidavit of service so filed be kept with the record. The petitioner has prayed for expediting the trial of Jagacha Police Station Case No.222/2021 dated 21-08-2022 wherein the Investigating Agency on completion of investigation submitted chargesheet in the year under Sections 326/307/333/353/379/34 IPC.

Mr. Bardhan, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State has submitted a report. Let the report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

From the submissions of the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner as well as for the State it appears that till date charge has not been framed and the petitioner is in custody in another case, as such in spite of bail being granted in connection with the present case, he cannot enjoy the liberty.

It has been pointed out by the State on instruction that 30-

01-2024 has been fixed for consideration of charges. If the said process is not completed on 30th January, 2024, the learned trial court is directed to complete the said process by 15th February, 2024. Thereafter the learned trial court would fix a schedule consisting of three dates and fix such schedule once in every two months so that the trial can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

No unnecessary adjournments should be granted to either of the parties.

The Public Prosecutor appearing in the case would produce the materials, documents and exhibits on the dates fixed for examination of the witnesses concerned.

All efforts be taken by the stake-holders to cooperate with the trial court so that the trial is concluded within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2665 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are disposed of accordingly. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
