Learned advocate representing the alleged contemnors relies upon the report prepared by the engineers signed on January 14, 2026 which mentions that in compliance with the direction passed by the Court an inspection was conducted and notice under Section 400(1) of the KMC Act, 1980 was issued. 2.

Hearing was conducted by the Special Officer (Building) and on December 20, 2023 an order was passed by the Special Officer (Building) for demolition of two additional floors at the premises no. 62, Shakespeare Sarani.

Being aggrieved by the order passed by the Special Officer, the persons responsible approached the Municipal Building Tribunal by filing B.T. Appeal No.21, 2025 which is pending disposal.

From the report filed by the alleged contemnors, it appears that the order passed by the Court has been complied with.

It will be open for the petitioner to follow up the matter before the Municipal Building Tribunal for further necessary relief.

Contempt application stands disposed of.
