Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a criminal case vide Kalyani Police Station Case No.395 of 2023 under Section 420/406 IPC has been filed against the accused person namely Murari Mohan Roy herein respondent no.3 in the instant writ petition who defrauded the petitioner by taking Rs.16 lakhs but till date no charge-sheet has been filed against the accused.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that all necessary steps has been taken including issuance of proclamation order against the accused but till date the accused Murari Mohan Roy is absconding. Heard learned counsel for the parties at length. The respondent authorities are requested to conclude the investigation and submit charge-sheet at an earliest.

With the above direction the writ petition is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
