Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the Officer-in-Charge, Bishnupur Police Station no steps have been taken. According to the petitioner she has been threatened by the private respondents from enjoying her property as repeatedly disturbance has been created and threat for assault has consistently been given to her, which is at the instance of the private respondents. Petitioner feels insecured so far as her life and property is concerned.

Mr. Samanta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that police authorities have already taken steps by drawing up proceedings under section 126 of the BNSS, 2023.

Having considered that police authorities are aware regarding the nature of the dispute

between the petitioner and the private respondents, I direct that the police authorities would keep a vigil and take steps as and when there is violation of law and order at the instance of any of the parties. With the aforesaid observations WPA 17162 of 2025 is disposed of.
