On August 8, 2022, the Court was informed that the husband was in America.

Today, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners do not wish to press the application.

Considering the materials in the case diary and the gravity of the offence as transpiring therefrom, and considering the fact that the police compliant was lodged within 7 years of marriage, we are of the view that the requirement of custodial interrogation of the petitioners cannot be overlooked. In such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

CRM (A) 3780 of 2022 is dismissed.
