Learned advocate appearing for the respondent No.6 submits that she received a notice dated January 8, 2025 from the Howrah Municipal Corporation asking her to appear on January 9, 2025 to consider the allegation of alleged unauthorized construction. The learned advocate appearing for the respondent No.6 also submits that since respondent no.6 filed a writ petition against the petitioner alleging the unauthorised construction by him, this present writ petition has been filed as a counterblast.

Respondent no.6, however, submits that following the notice issued by the corporation, she appeared before the concerned officer and produced the sanctioned plan in support of the relevant construction. In view of the matter, I am not inclined to keep this writ petition pending. I direct the Howrah Municipal Corporation to pass a necessary order following the hearing conducted on January 9, 2025 within a period of one month from the date of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 18020 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent Photostat certified copy, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
