Both the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant as well as State respondents are present. This revisional application was filed on 10th July, 2015 with a prayer for quashing of the proceedings of G.R. Case No.342 of 2014 pending before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Calcutta, arising out of Hare Street Police Station Case No.100 of 2014 dated 8th February, 2014 under Sections 120B/167/193/406/ 418/420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the proceeding in connection with G.R. Case No.342 of 2014 was ended in final report (mistake of fact) on 20th July, 2015.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the private opposite party has also submitted the same thing. It is submitted that against the final report, complainant filed a protest application which was transferred to the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate, 19th Court by the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate. Accordingly, the Metropolitan Magistrate, 19th Court examined the witnesses on S.A. under Section 200 Cr.P.C. and issue process against the accused on 24th June, 2022 under Sections 167/193/406/418/420/ 120B of the Cr.P.C. fixing 22nd August, 2022 for S.R. It is submitted that the order dated 24th July, 2022 was assailed in separate revision application being CRR 3660 of 2022.

In the given situation the instant revisional application has become infructuous and liable to be dismissed.

Thus, the instant revisional application being CRR 2228 of 2015 stands dismissed being infructuous. All the pending applications are hereby dismissed accordingly.
