Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The grievance of the petitioner is that his applications before the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Goghat-II, district Hooghly for obtaining the certified copy of the R.S. and L.R. Record of Rights, have not been considered as yet.

It appears that several applications were filed by the petitioner (pages 12 to 35 of the writ petition) before the concerned authority for obtaining the certified copy of the R.S. records in respect of the several properties. All the applications, according to the petitioner, are still pending disposal.

Upon considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties and material on record, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider and dispose of the applications filed by the petitioner (at pages

12 to 35 of the writ petition) within two months from the date of communication of this order after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law. With the above observations and directions this writ petition WPA 18302 of 2021 is disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
