The order proposed to be passed in the present application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India would not cause any prejudice to the opposite parties, as such, service of notice of the present application upon the said opposite parties is dispensed with.

A proceeding under Section 8 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act being Misc. Case No. 26 of 2012 is pending before the 2nd Court of the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) at Barasat, District : 24-Parganas (North).

The petitioners, the preemptees of the said proceeding, are complaining delay in disposal of the said misc. case and are praying for a direction for expeditious disposal of it. It appears from record that witness action in the said proceeding is about to be completed, the learned Trial Judge, therefore, is requested to make all endeavour to bring the said proceeding to its logical conclusion within a reasonable time and in doing so, shall not entertain the prayer of the parties for any unnecessary adjournment.

C.O. 2507 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
