There were earlier orders, wherein the petitioner was allowed to go abroad, return and deposit the Passport. The Learned CJM, Chinsurah, Hooghly is directed that if the petitioner applies for return of the Passport for the purposes of his travel abroad, then the Learned CJM, Chinsurah, Hooghly, will keep the itinerary, particularly, in respect of the place/places, where the petitioner intends to visit. The limited time period required for such visit or the purposes of the visit, be stated in the application.

The Learned CJM, Chinsurah, Hooghly would, for the said period, for which the Passport is required, release the Passport.

Mr. Mondal, Learned Advocate for the petitioner, submits that the period of three months is required for the visit. The petitioner would, in his application, state before the Learned CJM, Chinsurah, Hooghly detailing the reasons for his visit and the Learned CJM, Chinsurah, Hooghly would fix a date for release and return of the Passport. With the above observations, CRR 2677 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order, duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
