The petitioner seeks new electric connection. One Abdul Awal Mondal and another raised objection to the grant of electricity in favour of the petitioner. A writ petition was filed by the said Abdul Awal Mondal and another being WPA No.22690 of 2024 which was heard and disposed of by this Bench on November 14, 2024 directing the concerned Station Manager "to ensure that the pole is not erected over the private land of the petitioner and all safety measures are implemented at the time of effecting supply".

Accordingly, the Station Manager, Nazirpur Customer Care Centre shall take steps to provide electric connection to the petitioner by maintaining all safety norms and by not installing electric pole over the private land of any private party.

The writ petition is thus disposed of.
