The Regional Provident Fund Commissioner and Others Mr. Mihir Kundu ..for the respondent nos.1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 1,2, 4, 5 and 6 in Court today is taken on record. This matter appeared on 8th March, 2024 when no one appeared for the petitioners though the respondent nos. 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 were represented.

In such circumstances, this learned advocate for the said respondents was directed to serve notice upon the writ petitioners as also the learned advocate through whom the writ petition was filed.

It appears from the track report annexed to the affidavit of service that the writ petitioner has been notified.

The writ petitioners remain unrepresented even today despite service.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it appears that the petitioners are no more interested to proceed with the matter despite being given repeated opportunities to represent the writ petition filed on or about 20th July, 2007 and may have become infructuous over the period of time.

The writ petition along with the application, if any, is according disposed of without any order.
