Mr. Biswajit De Ms. Bineeta Bhattacharya ... for the State - Respondent(s) Re The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of informing the Inspectorin-charge of Joynagar Police Station, no steps have been taken. I find that such representation is dated 01.05.2024.

The further grievance of the petitioner is that inspite of the learned Civil Judge (Jr.Divn), 3rd Court, Baruipur having passed a status quo order in TS 347 of 2022, the police authorities did not implement such order and, as such, he has been suffering a lot.

Learned advocate for the State submits that absolutely a civil dispute, wherein the learned civil court is in seisin

of the issues, has been canvassed before this court.

As such, if the petitioner finds that there has been any resistance faced by him, he would obviously bring the same to the notice of the learned civil court which is already adjudicating the nature of the dispute existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

The police authorities have very limited role to involve themselves.

However, the police authorities would ensure that in case there is violation of any law and order, they would interfere for preventing any situation which is blown out of proportion.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18115 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
