No.17 considering her application the West Bengal Central School Service Commission recommended her in New Town Girls' High School (H. S.) in Cooch Behar but when the petitioner went to join the school, the school intimated that there is no vacancy in the subject Bengali (P.G.) and, therefore, she could not join the said school. Subsequently some disputes arose between the parties as to why she had not been allowed to join the said named school by the School Service Commission. However, to cut the matter short, I am not going into such detail as the Commissioner of School Education has taken a very positive stand by suggesting two other schools nearby to New Town Girls' High School (where the petitioner was initially recommended by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission). Those two schools as per the instruction of the Commissioner of

School Education through their advocate are (i) Cooch Behar Mahatma Gandhi Girls' High School and (ii) Maharaja Nripendra Narayan High School. Both the schools are located in Cooch Behar Sadar.

At the time of hearing learned advocate for the petitioner, after taking instruction, intimated this court that the petitioner is willing to join Maharaja Nripendra Narayan High School as there is a vacancy in the post of assistant teacher in Bengali (P. G.) and, accordingly, I direct the School Service Commission to send the recommendation in the school selected by the petitioner today to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education for issuing appointment letter to the petitioner within a period of seven days from the date of communication of this order. The entire exercise is to be completed by four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With this observation and direction the writ application is disposed of.
