Petitioner is aggrieved as the information furnished with the Inspector-in-Charge, Basanti Police Station did not yield any result. Petitioner's primary intention is to raise a boundary wall in respect of a property which he claimed he has inherited and he is enjoying the same and has been resisted by the private respondents.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that long standing dispute over the property is existing for which proceedings under Sections 126/135(3) of the BNSS have been drawn up at the relevant point of time. On the basis of information on 06.08.2025 Basanti PS case no. 431/25 dated 06.08.2025 has been registered for investigation under Section 318(4)/316(2)/3(5) of the BNS against the private respondent nos. 6 to 13.

Having considered that the police authorities are well aware regarding the existing circumstances and a criminal case has been registered, police authorities would interference in case there is any violation of law and order.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 17191 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.
