The petitioners were granted bail after about four and a half years. The said order was passed on 09.09.2025. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are unable to furnish local surety.

Having considered the plight expressed by the petitioners for failing to furnish local surety as was directed in the order dated 09.09.2025, I direct that the condition of the bond required to be furnished be altered to the extent that the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be a resident within the jurisdiction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Burdwan. So far as the other conditions are concerned, the same would remain unaltered.

The application being CRAN 1 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
