1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to treat the petitioner as a trained candidate and rectify the service records of the petitioner in the records of West Bengal Board of Primary Education in respect of selection process of 2016.

3. Mr. Sudipta Dasgupta, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner joined as a trained candidate in respect of recruitment process of 2016, on 11th February, 2017. The petitioner has also been

granted 'A' category scale of pay. However, in the break-up score of panel for recruitment process of 2016 the petitioner has not been given any training score. On 16th May, 2024 the petitioner made a representation for necessary correction of the records for treating the petitioner as a trained candidate. However, the same is still pending consideration. He seeks for appropriate orders.

Subir Sanyal, learned senior advocate appearing on behalf of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education submits that the petitioner has been granted 'A' category scale of pay.

From the materials on records it reveals that the petitioner has completed Primary Teachers Training Course on 11th December, 2004 and Diploma in Elementary Education (in short DELED), course on 30th July, 2012. Thus, the petitioner has completed her training course much prior to her joining in service on 11th February, 2017. The Teachers Eligibility Test (in short 'TET') 2014 Certificate has been issued to the petitioner as a trained candidate. However, in the break-up score of panel for recruitment process of 2016 no score has been given under the heading "Training Score". In the aforesaid backdrop there is no manner of doubt that the petitioner joined as a trained candidate.

6. In view of the above, the writ petition being WPA 17212 of 2025 is disposed of directing the respondent no.3, West Bengal Board of Primary Education and respondent no.6, District Primary School Council, Paschim

Bardhaman to treat the petitioner as a trained candidate for all practical purpose.

7. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted.

8. Interim order, if any, stands vacated

10. There shall be no order as to costs.

11. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

12. Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
