Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioner is in custody for about 116 days. Investigation is complete.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner had an illicit relationship with the victim. Subsequently, he was seen running away from the spot where the victim was shot at and killed. In view of the aforesaid materials on record and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
