Petitioner is in custody for over 220 days. He submits there was free mixing between the parties. Subsequently, out of depression victim committed suicide. He prays for bail. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits victim became pregnant and thereafter committed suicide.
We have considered the materials on record including the suicide note. The note discloses pressure on the victim lady to do immoral acts. As a consequence, she committed suicide. She was compelled to do by the petitioner.
In view of the aforesaid circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
