In the earlier order dated 25.08.2025, inadvertently the name of the learned advocate for the State has been transcribed. The correct name of the learned advocate would be 'Suman Ghosh'

instead of 'Suman Sengupta'.

A report has been submitted wherein the Officer-in-Charge, Missing Persons Bureau, CID, West Bengal has stated that the accused person was arrested from Chhattisgarh and has been taken in transit remand for production before the jurisdictional Court. The victim girl has been produced before the Child Welfare Committee at Raipur, Chhattisgarh on 17.09.2025. The CWC, Raipur has been pleased to order transfer of the victim girl to CWC, Purba Medinipur. The accused in

course of time will be produced before the learned CJM, Purba Medinipur.

Since the Missing Persons Bureau, CID, West Bengal was entrusted for a limited purpose, henceforth the investigation of the case would be continued by the concerned Investigating Officer of Panskura Police Station Case No. 590/2025 dated 26.06.2025.

The limited purpose for which the petitioner approached this Court has been subserved.

Petitioner would be at liberty to take up further issues before the learned CJM, Purba Medinipur in seisin of the aforesaid case.

It has been informed by the concerned officer of the Missing Persons Bureau, CID, West Bengal that the victim girl as well as the accused would be produced before the learned CJM, Purba Medinipur on 19.09.2025. Accordingly, petitioner would take steps before the learned CJM, Purba Medinipur.

Report so submitted be kept with the record in a closed envelop.

Accordingly, WPA 17106 of is disposed of.
