28.08.2024 rc/ct.no.34 Item No.78 CRR No.2945 of 2024 In the matter of : Gouranga Malik @ Radha .......Petitioner Mr. Sourav Mukherjee ...for the Petitioner Petitioner has assailed the order dated September 13, 2023 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Howrah in G.R.Case No. 3163 of 2021 issuing warrant of arrest against him. It appears that the petitioner was initially on bail and warrant of arrest was issued against him on September 13, 2024 due to his non-appearance before the learned Court on that date without steps.

The petitioner seeks to surrender before the learned Trial Court within 2 weeks from date.

In the event the petitioner surrenders before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Howrah within 2 weeks from date and files an application for bail, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Howrah shall deal with the same in accordance with law. If the petitioner fails to surrender before the learned Court within the stipulated time frame, the learned Court shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against the petitioners in accordance with law without further reference to this Court. Warrant of arrest issued vide an order passed on September 13, 2024 be stayed till September 17, 2024.

CRR No. 2945 of 2024 is disposed of.
