Mr. Arani Bhattacharyya ...... for the State Petitioner is in custody for 35 days. It is submitted there is no direct evidence connecting him with the murder. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner was seen near the place of occurrence at the time of the offence. He had motive to commit the crime. Incriminating articles were recovered from him. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. ( Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J. ) ( Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
