The petitioner who is the de facto complainant in GR Case No.1008 of 2017 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar seeks expeditious disposal of her application under Section 173

(8) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

It appears that the application was filed on 9th January, 2024 and is still pending.

In view of the above, the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar is directed to consider and dispose of the application filed by the petitioner on the next date of hearing fixed before him and if the same is not possible due to unavoidable circumstances, within a month thereafter, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 2948 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
