Heard learned Advocates appearing for the parties. It is the grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition that though it has filed an application under Sabka Vishwas(Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme, 2019 and has paid the tax but such application has not been disposed of by the authority concerned till date. Such application appears at page 11 being Annexure P-1 to the writ petition. It appears that such application was made on 23rd December, 2019 and payment of tax has already been made by the petitioner though belatedly but till date no order has been passed by the respondent authority concerned on the aforesaid application dated 23rd December, 2019 under the aforesaid Scheme.

Considering the submission of the parties this writ petition being WPA18386 of 2021 and CAN 1 of 2022 are disposed of by directing the respondent authority concerned to take a decision on the aforesaid application of the petitioner dated 23rd December, 2019 under the said Scheme in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or its authorised representative within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
