1. Affidavit of service is taken on record.

2. Petitioner has preferred the present writ petition alleging that respondent no. 5 has failed to disburse the retiral benefits/gratuity of the petitioner in terms of O.M. no. 6446(65)-F(P2) dated 29.11.2019 and O.M. no. 5315-F(P2) dated 14.9.2013 issued by the Finance Department, Audit Branch, Government of West Bengal and the West Bengal Services (Revision of Pay and Allowance) Rules 2019. Hence, aggrieved by the same, petitioner has preferred representations dated 26.12.2023, 29.1.2024 and 29.4.2024 before the respondent authorities. However, till date the same has not been considered.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent no. 5 submits that they are ready and willing to

consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.4.2024.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his grievances will be satisfied if his representation dated 29.4.2024 is decided in a time bound manner.

5. In view of the same, this court directs the respondent no. 5 to decide the petitioner's representation dated 29.4.2024 within six weeks from the date of communication of this order after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner by way of speaking order.

6. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
