This public interest petition was filed raising the grievance against the strike/protest/agitation by the nurses in the premises of SSKM hospital. After filing of this petition the strike/protest/agitation was suspended by the nurses who are represented through the respondent no.10. This Court had thereafter kept the matter pending for considering certain grievances raised on behalf of the nurses in the affidavit-inopposition of the respondent no.10. When the matter is taken up today, learned counsel for the respondent no.10 has drawn the attention of this Court to the representation of the respondent no.10 dated 23.12.2020 addressed to the respondent no.1 and has submitted that a direction be issued to consider the said representation after giving

To this, learned Advocate General has no objection.
Learned counsel for the respondent no.10 has also assured that within the premises of the hospital no agitation will take place.
Hence, we dispose of the present petition by directing the respondent no.1 to consider the representation dated 23.12.2020 in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to the representative of the respondent no.10. The respondent no.1 will make all possible endeavour to redress the grievance of the nurses raised in the said representation.
