Mr. Iqbal Kabir ...... for the State Petitioner is in custody for 245 days. He prays for bail. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including statements of eye witnesses recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. which implicate the petitioner in the murder. Post Mortem report corroborates ocular version of the eye witnesses. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
