1. This contempt application has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order and direction issued by this Court on 9th April, 2024 in MAT 1965 of 2022.

2. The State has enacted a validation Act thereby contending that subject matter of the judgment will no longer be invoked in the light of the new enactment.

3. Admittedly, the applicants had also filed a writ petition challenging the vires of the new enactment viz., Revocation of West Bengal Incentive Schemes and Obligations in the nature of Grants and Incentives Act, 2025.

4. In the light of the above, the contempt application is disposed of leaving it open to the applicants to take appropriate steps, if need be, after the disposal of the writ petition.

5. No costs.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
