This is a writ application preferred by 196 writ petitioners and full court fees has been paid vide entry no. A 15341 dated 16.08.2022.

The grievance of the writ petitioners is that they are not getting TET certificate and, according to them, this is only for the reason of one notification of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education dated 30.05.2022

where it has been stated, inter alia, that the TET 2014 empanelled candidates need not apply.

The expression 'need not apply' does not mean that they would not get the TET certificates. There must be some misunderstanding between the parties as to this to not getting TET certificate.

I send this matter to the grievance cell of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education and I direct the grievance cell to look into the matter and to solve the problem, if necessary after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners represented through any of their learned advocates, by 30th November, 2022. With these observations and directions above, this writ application is disposed of.
