1. Heard the learned counsels for the parties.

2. Perused the case diary.

3. The prosecution case appears to be that the petitioner and the other accused caused serious injuries on vital parts of the body of the victim by using sharp cutting weapons. So far as the present petitioner is concerned, an independent witness stated that he had stabbed the victim in his abdomen with a 'Kati'.

4. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary as discussed above, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
