1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that one coaccused, Muluk Malitha, although named in the FIR, has been discharged and the petitioner stands on the same footing.

2. Such prayer is opposed on behalf of the State.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary, statement of the victim directly implicating the petitioner and the said statement read with the injury report which shows that no the injuries are grievous in nature, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
