Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was implicated on the basis of the statements of a co-accused. The petitioner is in custody for 400 days. Although the police submitted charge sheet and supplementary charge sheet, copies thereof were not supplied to the petitioner.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner is a participant in the dacoity. Melted gold from the melted ornaments taken in dacoity was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offences and the complicity of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

We, however, request the Court in seisin of the proceeding to frame charges as expeditiously as possibly, if not already done.

Prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM 7581 of 2021 is disposed of.
