Amitabrata Roy, learned Government Pleader appears for the state.

The petitioner was appointed as Anganwari Worker at the relevant sub-centre of the concerned Gram Panchayat. Annexure p-3 at page 18 to the writ petition shows the petitioner was absent during the period between May 25, 2015 and September 22, 2020. The petitioner submitted representation on September 22, 2020 but no step has been taken by the concerned Gram Panchayat so that the petitioner could be resumed to her employment.

A further representation dated July 22, 2025 at page 16 to the writ petition was submitted by the petitioner, no step has been taken by the concerned authorities.

Hence, this writ petition.

Considering the unexplained and unauthorized absence of the petitioner since 2015, this court shall not interfere with the issue.

There is no merit in this writ petition.

Accordingly, this writ petition WPA 17255 of 2025 stands dismissed, without any order as to costs. (Aniruddha Roy, J.)
