The writ petitioner claims that the private respondents are interfering with possession of his land inherited from his father. The private respondents claim to have purchased the property from the petitioner's father. There was an earlier civil suit filed by the petitioner's father which was dismissed. The petitioner has also instituted T. S. No. 46 of 2017 which is pending before the 3rd Civil Judge (Junior Division), Baruipur. The civil court has ordered status quo.

Civil rights and title in respect of the property shall be decided in the pending civil court. Parties shall strictly abide by the status quo passed by the civil court.

The O. C., Kultali Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
