The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Haripal Police Station, Hooghly District in respect of investigation into FIR No. 132 of 2022 dated 14th June, 2022. It appears that the investigation has been completed and the Charge Sheet No. 32 of 2023 dated 31st January, 2023 has been filed.

This Court notes that the private respondents have collected sums of money from the petitioner and the other innocent persons.

The Superintendent of Police, Hooghly shall look into the matter particularly the allegations contained in the application of the petitioner under Section 156(3) of the Cr. P. C. and take appropriate steps in this regard. The petitioner shall serve a copy of this order on the Superintendent of Police, Hooghly along with a copy of the writ petition.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
