The direction dated 16th August for consideration of the petitioner's appeal has been complied with.

Mr. Bhattacharyya submits that family is now united and the petitioner's wife Tanusri @ Tanni admittedly is a Bangladeshi citizen. The wife of the petitioner has valid visa and is staying in India. There is clear evidence and admission that she has used forged documents to obtain an Indian Passport. The Union shall take all and every step to enquire and investigate into the forgery and the racket of persons involved in preparing such forged documents.

All Central and State Enforcement Agencies including Police shall co-operate with the Union in the investigation/enquiring in question.

Affidavit of compliance is taken on record.

The contempt application shall stand disposed of.

The alleged contemnors have appeared today and their further presence is dispensed with. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
