It appears that the prime grievance of the petitioner that no FIR was lodged on his complaint has already been redressed as it reflects from the report of the State that a specific FIR being Uluberia PS Case No.311 of 2023 dated August 4, 2023 under sections 447/341/323/506/34 IPC has already been registered. According to learned counsel for the State, a proceeding under section 107 CrPC has also been initiated.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.5 denies the allegations made in the writ petition and submits that a civil suit over the same issue is already pending.

Since the prime grievance of the petitioner of nonregistration of the FIR has already been redressed, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition. It is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs. Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
