Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 5th June, 2024 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Barasat, North 24 Parganas in Criminal Revision No.117 of 2024 whereby the learned Judge has stayed the operation of the order dated 28th March, 2024 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat in connection with Complaint Case No.441 of 2024 under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Learned counsels for the parties candidly submit that the learned Sessions Judge be directed to dispose of the revisional application being Criminal Revision No.117 of 2024 pending before him as expeditiously as possible. Since the revisional application preferred against the order dated 28th March, 2024 passed by the learned Chief

Judicial Magistrate, Barasat in Complaint Case No.441 of 2024 is pending, the learned Sessions Judge considered it fit to stay the said order for a limited period. However, since expeditious disposal of the revisional application shall meet the ends of justice, the learned Sessions Judge, North 24 Parganas is directed to take the revisional application to its logical conclusion within one month from the next date of hearing fixed before him, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 2957 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
