Mr. Partha Pratim Das Mrs. Manasi Roy ...... for the State Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits he is in custody for 355 days. It is also submitted that he has been falsely implicated in the instant case.
Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes prayer for bail.
We have considered materials on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner is the driver of the vehicle where the victim was murdered. In view of the aforesaid incriminating circumstance and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
