1. The bank contends that an authorized officer, subordinate to the District Magistrate, should be deputed so that the secured asset can be taken possession of.

2. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the District Magistrate, North Parganas to dispose of the representation of the bank/petitioner dated March 14, 2024, in accordance with law and pass necessary directions upon any officer subordinate to him, so that the secured asset can be taken possession of in terms of the original order dated October 26, 2018, under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act.

3. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 5.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of server copy of this order.
