The only prayer in the writ petition is for a direction on the ADG and IG of Correctional Services, West Bengal to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 1st August, 2022.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the "annual ceremony" scheduled to be held on 20th August, 2022. The representation is for the 'parole' on the ground of the petitioner's father's "annual ceremony". Learned counsel submits that the "annual ceremony is the "Sradh" ceremony of the petitioner's father.

The State is represented.

W.P.A.17829 of 2022 is disposed of with a direction on the ADG and IG of Correctional Services, West Bengal/The Superintendent, Hooghly District

Correctional Home, Chinsurah, Hooghly to consider the representation dated 1st August, 2022 of the petitioner within seven days from today. A copy of the order shall be made available to the petitioner within three days from which such order is passed.
