The only prayer in the writ petition is for a direction on the ADG and IG of Correctional Services, West Bengal to consider the representation dated 1st August, 2022 made by the petitioner.

The representation is for the 'parole' on the ground of illness of the petitioner's son. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner's son requires special treatment for his serious illness.

The State is represented.

W.P.A.17833 of 2022 is disposed of with a direction on the ADG and IG of Correctional Services, West Bengal/The Superintendent, Hooghly District Correctional Home, Chinsurah, Hooghly, being respondent no.2/3 to consider the representation of the petitioner within seven days from today. A copy of the order shall be made available to the petitioner within three days from which such order is passed.
