Petitioner has approached this Court for the police authorities to take appropriate steps towards the safety, security and protection of the petitioner. Informations were furnished to the Inspector-in-Charge, Barasat Police Station. Records reflect that on the complaint of the present petitioner, Barasat Police Station Case No.

436/2025 dated 23.08.2025 was registered against the private respondent no. 6.

Having considered that a case has already been registered and petitioner expresses anxiety and agony, so far as his safety and security is concerned,

petitioner would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate for necessary reliefs. In case, there are other issues involved, petitioner would approach the SDO/Maintenance Tribunal under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2025. If there are any orders passed by the Maintenance Tribunal, police authorities would ensure that the same is complied with.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 17322 of 2025 is disposed of.
