His father, a teacher in the Madrasah expired on 1st June, 2018. The petitioner made application in the prescribed format on 3rd March, 2020. The application of the petitioner was forwarded by the Madrasah to the District Inspector of Schools by a communicating letter dated 19th March, 2020.

The petitioner alleges that the said application has not been taken into consideration till date. As it appears that the application of the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment is pending consideration at the end of the respondent

authority accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools, Secondary Education, North 24 Parganas to consider the application made by the petitioner praying for compassionate appointment strictly in accordance with law, at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The said respondent shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Leave is granted to the learned advocate on record of the petitioner to correct the typographical error appearing in respect of the respondent No. 3 in the cause title of the writ petition.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
